Creative Direction + Art Direction + User Experience + Design
With more than 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical and healthcare advertising, I have proved time after time that I can turn strategic insights into persuasive creative. With a deep understanding of visual design in both the print and digital space, I use my skills to not only lead but to create and seize the attention of my audience with engaging creative experiences. I love a challenge and I pride myself on my emotional intelligence, which allows me to guide thinking and drive behavior in today’s ever-changing world.
BGB Group: Art Supervisor, August 2021
At BGB, I led the development of the CABOMETYX brand style from the ground up. This started with creation of brand guidelines and how that could translate across 3 different indications, as well as a vast digital and print ecosystem. I have acted as the brand steward ensuring all work is consistent and strategically delivering for our client’s business needs and goals. With multiple projects happening simultaneously, I have managed my time efficiently, keeping scope and timing top-of-mind. I have also managed other design team members in the same way, while working closely with project and account management to ensure we are prioritizing and meeting our deadlines. Outside of the day-to-day CABOMETYX work, I have also aided other teams and brands with concepting and executing pitch tactics to help expand BGB’s portfolio in the healthcare space.
MRM//McCann: Sr. Art Director, March 2018-August 2021
At MRM, I was responsible for concepting, executing, and managing all digital projects for Sunovion. I was one of the key decision-makers from a design and UX perspective. I also worked with our account and PM teams to establish timelines, resources, and processes to most efficiently deliver a high-quality product.
NextWorks: Associate Design Director, January 2015-March 2018
As the Associate Design Director for NextWorks (a startup digital marketing agency), I was responsible for managing/directing all projects from concept to completion. Additionally, I assisted the executive team with developing the NextWorks brand across all mediums. Unlike a traditional agency, I’ve had to wear many hats over the past 3 years. I often found myself immersed in Project/Account Management, User Experience, User Interface Design, and Product Development. It was my responsibility to ensure we were delivering the highest quality work to our clients. Clients: Bristol-Myers Squibb, Galderma, Merck, Bayer, Aetna, Allianz, Janssen, W20 Group, Weber Shandwick, and Edelman.
Rosetta: Designer / Art Director / Sr. Art Director, April 2010-December 2014
As the Art Director for Rosetta I was responsible for concepting and creating visuals for various web and mobile platforms. I consistently utilized creative briefs and revision briefs to ensure projects were delivered in a timely manner with flawless execution and with little overhead from CDs. This has led to full trust in my capabilities and better use of billable time. I managed multiple projects, learned to stay calm, collected and organized when being exposed to tight deadlines and “on the fly” work and delivery. Clients: Rogers, Pilot Pen, Highpoint, Special Olympics, Otsuka, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Allergan, Lenovo, Medley Health, Citizens Bank
Self Employed: Designer/Art Director, July 2005-March 2010
Clients: Paradox Creative Group, Kurani Interactive, Faces of Tomorrow, Webcards, Nimagia, Hudson Yards
Molecular: Visual Designer, March 2008-February 2010
As a Visual Designer for Molecular I created graphic icons, components for CMS and graphic comps for companies such as Nikon, Ernst & Young, TCW, First Data, Macrovision, and Boston Coach. I also created style guides and other visual references to support development. In addition to the work I did for the clients listed above I also assisted Molecular with sales pitches, corporate CD labels, and design templates for a consistent presentation.
TC Graphics and Printing Inc: Lead Graphic Designer, February 2004-March 2008
As a lead graphic designer I was responsible for all projects from concept to completion. I also worked directly with clients to ensure great relation and satisfaction. At TC Graphics I produced brochures, business cards, postcards, and other print collateral. Not only did I take on the design phase but I also prepared the files for print using 1 and 2 color separations as well as 4 color process printing.
My skills consist of extensive experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Outlook. Furthermore, I have professional experience in working with and developing new clients. Handling any type of work load and deadline expected, I have the grit it takes to work and advance projects as a team leader and member.
